We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer for a leading player in the electronics sector who specialize in the development and manufacturing of cutting-edge test and measurement equipment. This is a permanent role based in the UK offering generous compensation and a company car as part of the package. Location - United Kingdom (>50% travel - rest of time remote working) Contract type - Permanent Key Responsibilities: Conduct field service visits for installation, maintenance, and repair of test and measurement equipment. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure optimal performance of equipment. Collaborate closely with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored solutions. Perform equipment commissioning and provide comprehensive training to clients on usage and maintenance procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, including reports, service records, and customer communications. Provide remote technical support and assistance to customers as required. Requirements: 2/3 years of professional experience in field service engineering or commissioning. Background in electrical/electronic engineering or mechatronics. Knowledge of in-circuit, functional, and/or automated test technologies is advantageous. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in a customer-facing role. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. UK-based with willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
