Commercial Refrigeration and Catering Engineer
Annual Salary : Circa £45,000 Neg Location : Twickenham, Middlesex Job Type : Full-time An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration and Catering Engineer to join our small, friendly, and well-established company. We specialise in the installation, service, and repair of commercial catering and refrigeration equipment. The role covers areas predominantly within the M25, servicing a range of establishments including schools, care homes, hospitals, restaurants, hotels, and food production facilities. Day-to-day of the role:
Service, repair, and install commercial refrigeration and electrical equipment to a high standard. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repairs, utilising effective diagnostic skills. Complete, update, and maintain all related reports, documentation, and pictures on the database using a tablet or phone. Ensure customer satisfaction with works carried out and adhere to site guidelines. Manage van stock and maintain equipment/vehicle. Advise customers on products and usage while ensuring health and safety is at the forefront of all actions. Correct use of PPE and maintain it in usable condition. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Refrigeration Trained - FGAS certification essential Minimum of 2 years’ experience working on commercial refrigeration equipment. Experience in the installation of commercial refrigeration equipment. Full, valid UK driving licence. Field service experience and flexibility in working hours. (No Weekends) Ability to pass an advanced DBS check. Demonstrated reliability and ability to work well within a team. Benefits:
