Reporting to the service manager, you will be responsible for effective delivery of professional electrical maintenance, service, and repair of CNC woodworking machinery. Duties will include but are not limited to the following: Electrical installations, machine fault finding, and repair Motors, servos, 415v and 24v circuits (ability to read electrical schematics/drawings is essential) Contactors, sensors, relays, switches, etc. Control panels and wiring PLC fault finding and repair Machine installation & commissioning Mechanical maintenance and repair, removal, and replacement of broken and worn component parts such as chains, sprockets, linear bearings, and ball screws Candidate:
You will be a multiskilled engineer, ideally with an electrical bias, and you will have previous experience in a field service engineer position. You will have previous experience in maintenance, service, and repair of automated/semi-automated machinery. Applicants will be electrically qualified e.g. NVQ3, HNC in electrical engineering, or 17th/18th edition certification. You will demonstrate good customer service and communication skills and you will be of a friendly disposition. Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours + OT, door to door pay Only occasional nights away from home Benefits:
