As a Field Service Engineer Fire at Honeywell, covering client sites in and around the Lake District, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, commissioning, fault finding on Fire systems on our customer sites, be the first line escalation for GENT supported products and provide effective repair as required. Key Responsibilities Day to day servicing, calibrations and maintenance; including diagnoses and repairs faults on a variety of Honeywell and 3rd party equipment. Identify opportunities for system improvements and provide prices for Small Works Quotes. Carry out hazard and risk assessments for all tasks as per company policy and procedures. Ensure customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients whilst delivering a valuable and professional service. Report possible future failures, disturbances and other opportunities for improvement. Key Skills and Qualifications Previous experience within service engineering undertaking regular preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, effective repair and commissioning of additions or alterations of systems. Qualifications or experience within the electrical/electronics industry (C&G, BTEC, ONC/HNC qualification in an Electrical/Electronic discipline). Ability to communicate both verbally and written with internal and external customers at all levels. Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations and the ability to work within customer-controlled environments. Knowledge and experience within fire systems and the fire industry would be an advantage.
