Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a well-established dealer of Material Handling equipment looking to on-board a new Field Service Engineer to service their client base across the West Midlands area. With a competitive basic salary and a number of other benefits, this is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to get into a new company. Responsibilities Servicing a client base across West Midlands with a focus on servicing forklift trucks Fixing and servicing other, related material handling & specialist equipment to include side-loaders and industrial cleaning equipment Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when visiting customer sites Attending the workshop from time to time and occasionally working on call Requirements The company have a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background due to the requirements of the role, however this is not essential. They will also consider candidates with a background working within a closely related industry such as plant equipment, automotive, commercial vehicles or similar. You will be able to work well on your own and as part of a team whilst being able to develop your skillset and learn as you go. In terms of location, you will need to be based within the West Midlands area. Benefits Competitive salary dependent on experience (up to 38k) Company Van Paid door-to-door Overtime opportunity paid time and a half over 40 hours 20 days holiday + statutory Pension Scheme Death in Service (up to 2x Annual Salary) The Company The company are a long-established dealer of forklift trucks, thus operating in the material handling industry. Alongside their wide variety of forklift trucks they also supply an array of attachments and specialist equipment.
