We are working with a leading supplier of forklifts in the West Midlands region. With a growing order and service book, this company is seeking an experienced field service engineer to join their thriving business.
Role Purpose:
To ensure both new and existing customers get the maximum uptime and productivity from our forklifts; to provide a level of service support that exceeds our customers' expectations; to be seen in the eyes of our customers as a real expert and a friend; to liaise with the factory on technical matters including product improvement and development.
Main Role Tasks:
Fault-finding, repair, and servicing forklifts.
Essential Attributes/Experience: Experienced maintenance engineer with a good working knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. You will have previously worked in a client-facing service engineering position, ideally. However, this is not essential! We will consider maintenance engineers who are seeking a more people-facing and field-based position. Minimum HND level or time-served engineer. An all-encompassing enthusiasm and expertise in all aspects of customer care.
Benefits: £38,000 - £44,000 salary 8am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday Overtime paid at 1.3x over 40 hours 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Company Pension Scheme
