A progressive and innovative Forklift Manufacturer are looking for a Field/Mobile Service Engineer to join their dynamic team.

You will be responsible for providing onsite maintenance, repairs, and servicing of Diesel Powered Forklifts and related equipment.

Travelling from home in a company supplied van, you will visit various clients across a range of industries to diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

The successful candidate will need to have forklift fault finding experience - ideally in a field-based role, although those with workshop/factory experience will also be considered.

Role Summary Field Service and Repairs Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a range of forklifts and associated equipment. Conduct routine preventive maintenance and service checks on forklifts as per manufacturer guidelines. Ensure that all repairs are completed to a high standard, meeting safety and compliance regulations, whilst providing recommendations for clients to extend the lifespan of equipment.

Customer Interaction Offer technical advice and troubleshooting assistance to clients both in person and over the phone. Develop and maintain positive client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Documentation and Reporting Complete detailed service reports for each job, documenting work performed, parts used, and any recommendations for future repairs. Maintain accurate records of vehicle and equipment maintenance schedules. Keep track of inventory and order replacement parts as necessary.
