A progressive and innovative Forklift Manufacturer are looking for a Field/Mobile Service Engineer to join their dynamic team.

You will be responsible for providing onsite maintenance, repairs and servicing of Diesel Powered Forklifts and related equipment.

Travelling from home in a company supplied van you will visit various clients across a range of industries to diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues.

The successful candidate will need to have forklift fault finding experience - ideally in a Field based role, although those with workshop/factory experience will also be considered.

Role Summary

Field Service and Repairs

* Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on a range of forklifts and associated equipment.

* Conduct routine preventive maintenance and service checks on forklifts as per manufacturer guidelines.

* Ensure that all repairs are completed to a high standard, meeting safety and compliance regulations. Whilst providing recommendations for clients to extend the lifespan of equipment.

Customer Interaction

* Offer technical advice and troubleshooting assistance to clients both in person and over the phone.

* Develop and maintain positive client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Documentation and Reporting

* Complete detailed service reports for each job, documenting work performed, parts used, and any recommendations for future repairs.

* Maintain accurate records of vehicle and equipment maintenance schedules.

* Keep track of inventory and order replacement parts as necessary.

* Experienced Forklift Engineer (Diesel)

* Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

* Strong communication and customer service skills
