We are currently looking to recruit field service engineers for our client who specializes in the rental service and maintenance of their own generators based in South Kirby (Wakefield) WF9. Salary:

£14 per hour Will receive a company van and fuel card, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Sage app with discounts and medical benefits. Working Hours:

Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) Purpose of Role:

Operating within the Manchester depot, though being flexible to meet the reactive work demands that can occur at any time, anywhere in our depot regions. To carry out the responsibilities below with high levels of attention to detail, professionalism, and consideration for company policy. To endeavor to carry out all duties with maximum efficiency, providing outstanding customer service whilst also optimizing company profitability. Role Duties: Carry out planned service and maintenance of own generators in the field and at our depot(s). Carry out planned service and maintenance of customers' generators. Service, fault find, and carry out breakdown repairs. Preparation of equipment for on-hire, including servicing, repairing, cleaning, and testing. On-site fault finding and subsequent rectification and testing of equipment. Apply proper engine technical skills in inspections and disassembly. Start-up load bank testing. Maintain a stock of equipment in your van. Ensure that the depot and your vehicle are kept clean and tidy. Part of on-call rota (includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays). Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to all Company handbooks and policies. Carry out all works in accordance with Health and Safety regulations. Ensure the completion of relevant paperwork is submitted accurately and in a timely manner. Perform all duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and the general public. Ideal Candidate will have: Prior experience in maintaining diesel generators between 14 kVA and 1400 kVA is essential. Exposure to controller configurations and installations would be highly advantageous. Ideally qualified at Apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC/HND, or City and Guilds level in an Engineering discipline. Full UK Driving license (preferably clean), with the ability to drive commercial vehicles. Fork Lift Truck to B2 is an advantage. Please apply online if interested in the role. INDAL
