Job Description As a Field Service Engineer within the National Response Team, you will provide high-quality field-based technical expertise directly to customers within the UK. Responsibilities: Carry out repairs, on-site commissioning, service, and calibration of customer's inline inspection equipment. Perform upgrades and refurbishments on customer sites. Handle on-site customer queries in a fair and courteous manner. Adapt to all types of environments and comply with local client's health and safety regulations. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and timely in accordance with company procedures. Cooperate by working overtime as needed. Participate in the on-call standby rota system as required. Learn a diverse set of products and continually improve product knowledge. Provide technical support via phone and email as needed. Qualifications: Good technical electrical/electronics skills - Minimum HNC or similar qualification in electromechanical/electrical engineering. Experience in a field service role with familiarity in customer service, including commissioning, repairs, and servicing. PLC programming and knowledge of PC hardware is an advantage. Good PC literacy. Methodical approach to problem-solving. Full current UK driving licence. Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends.
