Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated maintenance technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of arboricultural and groundcare equipment, including wood chippers, stump grinders, compact loaders and compact tractors. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our clients' equipment. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify any issues or potential problems. Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine servicing, hydraulic system servicing and breakdowns. Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions, utilising the best diagnostic equipment. Recommending appropriate solutions and parts replacements. Maintain accurate digital records of equipment maintenance and repairs. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide expert advice on equipment maintenance. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in equipment maintenance practices. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with equipment and tools. Qualifications: Previous experience working with ground care equipment or arboricultural equipment, preferable, but not essential. Strong knowledge of chippers, stump grinders, compact loaders is preferable but not essential. Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in equipment. Familiarity with hydraulic systems and their maintenance. Familiarity with 12/24v electrical systems and their maintenance. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and tasks. Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
