Working within an established team, you will play a pivotal role in covering the Darlington area, carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on commercial vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a background in HGV, LGV, plant machinery, or mechanical handling equipment. What's involved for the Field Service Engineer… Carry out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial vehicles Carry out refurbishments and accident damage repair work Manage your own regional territory Attend customer sites Deal with all mechanical and electrical work on vehicles Fault find and diagnose electrical issues What you'll need… Commercial vehicle, HGV, LGV, Agricultural, FLT, heavy plant machinery, or mechanical handling equipment background MUST have mechanical and electrical vehicle experience Hydraulic experience is ideal Ability to interpret technical information HGV Licence advantageous but not essential Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels Good written and verbal communication skills Benefits for the Field Service Engineer… Competitive salary Overtime Door to door pay Company van Company pension 24 days + 8 bank holidays Life Insurance Health shield scheme Eye care voucher scheme Career development courses This is a Full time, permanent
