Our client is a leading design and manufacturer of ultrasonic cleaning and coating systems, producing various products including precision optics, semi-conductor, and medical implant industries globally.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, performing installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced technology products. This position involves global travel, 75% field-based & 25% in the office.

Working hours are 8:45am - 5:00pm, the main office is based in Letchworth.

Package:

£32,000 to £35,000 salary (DOE) Car allowance Fully expensed credit card Company pension scheme Additional pay for overnight stays 25 days holiday + bank holidays

Field Service Engineer - Responsibilities:

Install and commission equipment at client sites, ensuring it meets the required performance specifications. Perform regular maintenance and repairs, diagnosing technical issues with precision. Provide technical assistance and training to customers, ensuring they are fully knowledgeable on system operation and best practices. Maintain accurate records of services performed, issues encountered, and solutions provided. Travel to customer sites as required, which will involve overnight stays and global travel.

Field Service Engineer - Requirements:

A degree or technical diploma in engineering or a related field is preferred. Solid technical background with hands-on experience in mechanical & electrical engineering. Previous experience in a field service role, ideally within the technology or engineering sectors. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers. A valid driver's license & passport.
