Field Service Engineer £45K + Overtime + Van + Benefits We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer/Maintenance Engineer to join a leading designer and manufacturer of bespoke equipment used in various industries. As a Field Service Engineer/Mobile Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for assembling and testing equipment at the company’s premises in Leighton Buzzard, and the installation, service and maintenance of the supplied equipment and machinery at the customers’ sites across the UK. Although this is a mobile/field-based position, the successful candidate must be located within a commutable distance to the manufacturing site in Leighton Buzzard. Duties: Site survey Testing and assembling manufactured equipment and machinery The installation, service and maintenance of equipment at customers’ sites across the UK Planning and preparation of trips with minimal supervision. Carrying out planned and emergency fault finding for all machines in the product range Commissioning new machines. Required Skills and Experience for the Field Service Engineer/Mobile Maintenance Engineer: Previous experience in a Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer/Technician capacity Experience in servicing and maintaining mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems Valid Full UK Driving Licence Clear communication skills, written and verbal Ability to liaise confidently with customers at all levels To learn more about this opportunity, please apply or call for a confidential discussion.
