We are looking for a Field Service Engineer for an exceptional family-owned business who has 50+ years of experience in their industry and who offers world-class service to customers in the UK and across Europe.
This is a truly great opportunity for an electrically biased Service and Maintenance Engineer who is looking to gain further experience in their field with the opportunity to travel across Europe!
Field Service Duties
PLC Systems and components repairs Fault finding and reactive maintenance in industrial machinery General mechanical and electronic machine maintenance Report writing Offering support in the Robotics division (additional training provided). Technical Support
Customer phone support Internal customer support related to technical issues Obligation to inform the customer concerning security issues in writing in the service reports Qualifications
NVQ/HNC/HND Qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Time served apprentice Required Skills and Expertise
Maintenance Engineering Electro-technical training Knowledge of PLC Technology Knowledge of pneumatics Knowledge of mechanics Electrical maintenance PLCs/Mechanical works Knowledge of processes and capabilities Ability to operate at all levels, internally and externally Experience with equipment used for food processing Salary
Negotiable - with OT, company car, expenses card AND travel to Europe. Overtime paid at 1.5x rate Company car OT offered and paid - can earn up to 10,000 extra per year Travel - 60% across UK and some travel to sites in Europe
