Leading provider of automated systems and mechanical equipment Are you an experienced mechanical engineer looking for a new challenge with a forward-thinking company? Our client, a market leader in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated systems and mechanical equipment, and we are seeking a professional Field Service Engineer to oversee installation and maintenance in the North London area. Post Codes include: AL,WD,EN,N,E,IG,NW Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment on customer sites. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults, providing effective solutions and ensuring minimal downtime. Deliver excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous approach with clients. Work independently while managing your time and tasks effectively, with occasional collaboration with team members. Complete all service reports and paperwork accurately and promptly. Report to the regional service manager on progress and updates. Develop proficiency with IT systems, especially Microsoft Office products Key Requirements: A background in mechanical engineering or mechanical diagnostic/repairs, either through formal qualification or hands-on experience. Self-motivated and able to work independently in various locations. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to maintain a polite and professional manner when dealing with clients. Flexibility to travel and work on the road as part of the role. A full UK driving licence is essential. What We Offer: Competitive salary ranging from 30,000 to 35,000 per year.
