Field Service Engineer – Manchester / Liverpool / Cheshire area

This exciting role will suit a Field Engineering professional looking to work with a talented close-knit team, someone who is not averse to getting stuck in whilst at the same time taking on responsibilities commensurate with this field role. Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the Field Service Engineer will carry out an install, service and repair role individually and in small teams across a defined area of the UK. This position is field-based with occasional overnight stays; a company van, tools, and training are provided. Role and Responsibilities

Assisting with preparation of equipment prior to site visits. Installations, Servicing, Commissioning & Call Outs to the high Courtney-Thorne standards required. On-Site Repairs – complete repairs where possible at customer sites to minimise customer down time. Assemble products as and when required. Answer all technical phone calls, solving technical queries and product problems over the phone whilst communicating in a calm, positive, and professional manner. Log calls on the Courtney Thorne office system and communicate outcomes with Sales, Customer Service, and Technical departments. Program and setup all Courtney Thorne and other manufacturers' products where required. Work with the field Engineering and internal Engineering teams to solve technical issues.
