A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation based in Norwich. This business develops cutting edge technology in a fascinating sector.

In this role, you will be working on-site at customer locations, both in the UK and abroad, either on your own or leading a small team. After completion of product training (in factory and on the job training) you will install, commission and test complex systems utilising your electronic, digital, and electromechanical skills.

This role will involve significant periods of time spent working away from home, including abroad.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out installation, commissioning, repair, service and training of company products. Coordinating with the Project Managers and Customer Support Manager in order to ensure effective delivery of service to the customer at their sites. Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, whilst delivering high standards of work and customer service. Constructing, conducting and instructing training courses within the factory and at customer locations. Key Requirements:

Deg/HND/HNC/ONC Electronic Engineering. Proven and demonstrable field service experience. Technical knowledge of diagnosing and repairing digital, electronic, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment. Self-starter able to operate independently or as part of a team. Able to read complex wiring diagrams and devise workable fault diagnosis instructions. Physically fit to Eng 1 standard and be capable of passing Sea Survival course, and be capable of working in harsh (hot and cold) environments. UK Valid passport with no travel restrictions.
