This role is ideal for a resilient, motivated engineer who enjoys working on the road, completing machine installations and breakdown repairs. Company Overview

Repairing and installing a range of strapping machines from home. Working in various industries such as food, construction, pharma, and distribution. Conducting installations (25% of the role) and responding to breakdown calls (75% of your time). Engaging with well-known and prestigious clients. Balance of mechanical (50%) and electrical (50%) tasks, suitable for a multiskilled engineer. Working Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week (including travel time), with most experienced engineers working 38-40 hours. Candidate Requirements

Formal engineering qualification (City and Guilds, HNC, HND, NVQ, apprenticeship, or electrical qualification). Previous field service experience or military engineering background. Multiskilled background. Basic understanding of PLC fault finding (training can be provided). Strong customer service skills. Good administrative skills and accurate reporting. Full, valid UK driving licence and right to work in the UK without sponsorship. Package

£38,000 - £43,000 Basic Salary, depending on experience. Company bonus, £5 daily lunch allowance, company credit card. Weekend overtime available, paid at £32ph. Company vehicle (Electric or Hybrid). Pension (8% company contribution), Mobile, Tablet. Death in Service (4x Salary). Specialist tools, uniform, PPE provided.
