Permanent About the Field Service Engineer Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our Service Engineering Department. This role focuses on final testing, commissioning, and servicing of specialized high-tech manufacturing equipment. Your work will be pivotal in supporting customers by ensuring optimal performance of both new and existing systems. Perform final test procedures, debugging, and factory testing of equipment before shipment. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software system issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime. Maintain comprehensive documentation and uphold safety and regulatory compliance. Preferred Skills & Experience of the Field Service Engineer: Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical assemblies, machine control systems (PLC and PC-based), and PCB fault-finding. Familiarity with semiconductor equipment, vacuum components, chemical fluid handling, and gas delivery systems is a plus. Minimum 3 years of experience in a field service or final testing role, with a solid understanding of electro-mechanical systems. Requirements for the Field Service Engineer: Good qualification in an electro-mechanical or related discipline. Full driving license and the ability to travel extensively with no restrictions. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adept at managing tight schedules.
