To support these developments, we have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join our team and shape with us the future of our industry. You will be based in our Glasgow facility and will travel to prebooked customer visits in the UK and Europe. This position would suit a focused and motivated individual who has a passion to travel, and is seeking an opportunity to join an evolving organisation and develop a career in Engineering. What we will offer you: Competitive Salary (Starting at £30,000 DOE) Birthday Gift Generous Holiday Package (including Christmas shutdown) Modern Offices On site parking Free fruit weekly Early finish Friday (subject to the needs of the business) Discretionary Christmas Bonus Contributory Pension up to 11% (subject to the terms) Death in service benefit Private Healthcare The Role: This is a Customer facing role attending sites in the UK and Europe Conduct field service visits to install, service, and repair Teknek equipment Ensure that service calls are resolved promptly and in full Provide on site equipment training to colleagues and customers Accompany the Head of Customer Experience and Regional Sales Manager to customer visits Travel: All travel, accommodation, food will be paid by the company, subject to the company travel policy All visits will be scheduled and be prebooked Desirable Skills: Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Field Service Engineer HNC in Mechanical and / or Electrical Engineering Keen to learn about new technologies Good attention to detail, decision making and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels of the business Able to use own initiative with the ability to work on their own and as part of a team This is a Customer facing role, you will have an open and friendly nature Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook Second Language an advantage Full, clean, UK driving licence Valid passport Passion for travel and engineering is a must!
