We are seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our clients team. The role will be focusing on the biogas upgrading process and auxiliary equipment. This role involves regular services, diagnosis, adjustments, and optimisation of client assets to ensure peak performance. The ideal candidate will be involved in installation, commissioning, maintenance, and service tasks, requiring a strong mechanical and electrical background. Field Technician

Annual Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 Job Type: Full-time Location: On the road (UK/European and occasional international travel) Day-to-day of the role:

Install, commission, and service biogas upgrading process equipment. Configure and calibrate equipment, and train staff in safe equipment usage. Troubleshoot Biogas process issues, including low voltage electrical hardware, control system installations, and mechanical failures. Design and develop new control systems as needed. Conduct quality assurance on new equipment, including testing hardware and debugging software. Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Site Acceptance Tests (SATs) on new installations. Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance according to company SOPs. Engage in data/trend logging and implement on-site and remote solutions. Supervise subcontractors on site, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. Promote sales of additional or replacement equipment and services to customers. Manage cost and time constraints and perform risk assessments. Provide input for process equipment documentation and operating instructions. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Engineering Degree/HNC/HND or equivalent education and experience. Multi-skilled with a 50/50 mechanical/electrical bias preferred. Proficient with Siemens Automation Software and Hardware, PLCs (S7-300, S7-1500), and HMI. Good understanding of low voltage electrical diagrams and drawings. Experience with Microsoft Office & Google Workspace applications. Flexibility with working hours, including participation in an On-Call Rota. Valid driving license for travel around the UK/EU and internationally. Proven track record in the industry, particularly with CHP Gas Engines, Biogas, Anaerobic Digestion, and Power Generation. Excellent communication skills, with fluency in French and English preferred. Benefits:
