£31,000 - £36,000 Starting Salary

About the Role: Field Service Engineer role available in a market leader of forklift trucks. The role will suit those looking for a local field-based position with lots of training, overtime if desired, and progression routes. You will also enjoy a healthy work-life balance.
Training and Support: The company has a comprehensive training plan in place to fully support the engineers in the field. Those with experience on cars, HGVs, agriculture, motorbikes, plant equipment, or similar will be well-suited to the role. You need to demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally have engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned maintenance (PPM) and breakdown coverage on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis. Provide reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area. Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment. Ensure spares are placed in the van overnight.
Minimum Requirements: Experience on cars, HGVs, agriculture, motorbikes, plant equipment, or similar.
