Due to the competitive nature of the position, direct engineering experience in the coffee industry is a must. This role entails overseeing a team of field-based service engineers responsible for the South-West of England. The job involves working both in the field and at home, as required. The company offers support to customers nationwide, servicing and maintaining a variety of coffee machines to exceptionally high standards. They aim to bring a seasoned coffee engineer on board to contribute to team development and leadership in the region. Responsibilities of the Engineering Service Manager: Overseeing the field engineering team, developing them and providing them with support Identify and manage KPIs of the field engineering team Working closely with the service coordinator team for allocated work Ensure the engineering team is well trained and identifying areas for improvement Be responsible for project management, financial management and approvals Carrying out appraisals, creating career development plans, and carrying out disciplinaries as required Motivating the team to represent the business to a high standard Required experience of the Engineering Service Manager: Direct engineering experience on multiple brands of coffee machines Previous management experience, or team leader experience Very strong communication skills and rapport building skills The ability to continue to learn, and develop personally Location: Dorset | Salary: 40000 - 42000 per year | Job type: Permanent | Posted: 01/02/2024
