This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established local business that designs, manufactures and tests turbochargers supplied into the power generation, marine and rail traction industries. Extensive travel and work in the field including service, repair and application support of Napier Turbochargers in the UK & worldwide. Qualifications:

Recognised time served mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ at Level 3 Experience:

At least 4 years relevant industry experience Practical experience of Turbocharger operation & maintenance Knowledge of medium speed diesel engines would be advantageous Experience of working away from home Skills:

Be self-motivated and have good communication skills, both verbal and written Show good timekeeping Have good awareness of the importance of a safe working environment and duties to oneself and others within the company's HSE policy. IOSH training or equivalent would be advantageous Demonstrate the ability to read engineering drawings and use a variety of calibrated measuring equipment Successful candidate will be the face of Napier at site and must uphold the companies standing in the industry Who are we?
