Field Service Technician focuses on capture and retain technical knowledge from an experienced field service engineer to ensure continuity of expertise.
What the role involves
- Capture and retain technical knowledge from an experienced Field Service Engineer to ensure continuity of expertise.
- Managing service visits across the UK but mainly within the London and Southeast area, including regular travel and some short-notice requirements.
- Produce accurate service reports and relevant documentation following all site visits and activities.
- Complete accurate expense accounting related to travel and service visits.
- Support customers in resolving issues where relevant.
- Manage instrument files.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

- This is a full-time remote role for a Microbiological Safety Cabinet and LEV Technician to join our Clean Air Team.
- Customer laboratory settings – Chemical e.g. factory.
- In-house laboratory – Light industrial.
- Light lab / warehouse / office.
