Our client is an independent Ricoh and Develop dealer established in 1988. They are a small, self-motivated, friendly team who strive to provide excellent customer service to their client base. It is an exciting time to join them as they are looking to push more into the software market and have started to do this with Papercut and Equitrac, but they want to move this on further with the recruitment of the right person. Job Description: To provide a technical service to customers, including installation, maintenance and repair of equipment. Ensure our customers receive the level of service expected and receive good communication at all times. To maximise revenue with as many first-time fix appointments as possible and completing any preventative maintenance whilst on site to reduce repeat visits. This includes managing car stock. Keeping the office informed of any stock needs or issues and supplying regular call-log information for others in the business. Working alongside the Sales Manager to help recommend the right equipment and options to quote to customers with specific needs. Keeping up to date with connectivity and compatibility across the range. Pushing forwards the software side of the business. With any training required, you will be the main person responsible for rolling out and maintaining the software packages within the business. This will also involve working with the Sales Manager to be sure the package meets the needs of the client and their setup. Supporting less experienced engineers and helping in their development. Candidate requirements: Manufacturer trained on Ricoh and/or Konica Minolta products up to the most recent models. Excellent knowledge of mechanical / electrical engineering. A minimum of 5 years Field Service Engineer experience. Proven fault-finding technique. IT literate with networking experience in both Windows and Mac based environments. Experience and understanding of Papercut. Excellent Customer Service Skills. The ability to work well in a team environment and go beyond your normal job description if the business so needs.
