The Opportunity ...

We are seeking a remote Field Service Engineer for our HPP Avure division, reporting to the Field Service & Technical Support Manager in the USA. You will work on fascinating machinery that uses high-pressure processing (up to 6,000 bar) to neutralize harmful bacteria in foods. This remote role can be based anywhere in the UK. On a given day, you may: Lead platform testing, customer support, and internal support; often the lead at project sites. Handle new equipment installations, service, and maintenance. Phase 1: Install equipment in the UK, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Sweden; work together with a colleague until completion. Phase 2: Service machinery on-site for 2-3 days at a time. Phase 3: Conduct scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime. Manage customer relations, quality assurance, site visit reporting, customer training, and identify opportunities for JBT innovations. Requirements for the role Technical Expertise : 3 years plus experience in Mechanical and electrical knowledge, including hydraulics and reading schematics; experience with heavy machinery installation; familiarity with Allen Bradley controls is a plus. Problem-Solving : Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving installation issues. Time Management : Efficiently meet tight deadlines. Flexibility : Available for long hours, including weekends, and adaptable to various countries. Teamwork : Collaborate effectively with technicians and local teams. Communication : Communicate clearly with team members and clients. Travel & Location Remote UK - we ask that you travel approximately 70% of the time.
