Field Service Technician focuses on capture and retain technical knowledge from an experienced field service engineer to ensure continuity of expertise.

What the role involves

  • Capture and retain technical knowledge from an experienced Field Service Engineer to ensure continuity of expertise.
  • Managing service visits across the UK but mainly within the London and Southeast area, including regular travel and some short-notice requirements.
  • Produce accurate service reports and relevant documentation following all site visits and activities.
  • Complete accurate expense accounting related to travel and service visits.
  • Support customers in resolving issues where relevant.
  • Manage instrument files.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

  • This is a full-time remote role for a Microbiological Safety Cabinet and LEV Technician to join our Clean Air Team.
  • Customer laboratory settings – Chemical e.g. factory.
  • In-house laboratory – Light industrial.
  • Light lab / warehouse / office.
