09.00am till 5.00pm with flexibility Job Summary: We are working with an established organisation who are recruiting for a Field-based Service Technician to do monthly service contract services for the company's clients. You will be providing technical and service assistance to company clients and line managers to ensure all products, breakdowns, technical queries, and services are performed on time. The Role: As part of a team of Technicians, you will carry out the repair and servicing of machines. Prepare products ready for dispatch. Receive deliveries and arrange collections of waste off-site ensuring compliance with health and safety policies and procedures. Repair and refurbish degreasing equipment. Inspect warehouse daily for leaking drums, electrical problems, tank leaks, etc. Take appropriate action to resolve any issues seeking guidance if required. Accurately complete any paperwork according to local work instructions and codes of practice. Assist in the monthly stock count. Report any major incidents to the Regional Manager. Provide cover / relief for Service Technicians as requested by line managers. Depot visits 3 x per week to get rid of waste and restock. KPI’s: Accurate and timely completion and submission of any required reporting. Maintenance of Company provided equipment. The Ideal Candidate will have: Good verbal and written communication skills. Results-driven and able to work under pressure whilst still achieving results and meeting deadlines. Flexible as there may be a requirement to work away from home and at short notice weekends or hours outside of the normal working day. Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative. Accuracy and attention to detail. Ambitious and motivated. Smart appearance. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships. Experience / Knowledge: Must possess a current full driving licence. Mechanical and electrical understanding required. Ability to use power tools, ensuring conformance to health and safety requirements. Good knowledge of Health and Safety policies and practices is essential. An Engineering background would be desirable. Previous customer service experience desirable. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications, using tablets and ‘apps’, customer relationship management software, and sales order management systems. Competencies: Customer Focus Business Acumen Integrity and Trust Drive for Results Functional / Technical Skills Communication (Informing) Interpersonal Savvy Organising Action Orientated Problem Solving Education/Qualifications: GCSE in Maths and English at Grade C or Above.
