Field Service Technician

£26,000 - £28,000 DOE
Hours:
37.5 hours per week, 9:00AM - 5:30PM, early finish on a Friday at 4PM
Our client, with a reputation of over 25 years in the Medical Science Manufacturing industry, is looking for a candidate who can provide technical support to the Technical Services Department to ensure a consistently high quality and accurate service is provided to our customers and engineers.
The purpose of the role: Provide field-based Planned Preventive Maintenance support of our client's products throughout the UK and Ireland. Deliver a consistently high quality and accurate service driven by an understanding of customers' needs and expectations.
Duties include: Attend customer sites as scheduled by the Customer Service Team Leader and carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (and occasional repair) work to the highest technical standard. Work with other team members on installation, commissioning, and training projects. Ensure all new equipment is installed to the highest possible standard. Update the electronic job management system according to agreed procedures. Develop profitable relationships with customers to ensure the ongoing promotion of the Technical Service Department and our client's product range. Manage and maintain tools, parts, and equipment. The ideal candidate will be: Car driver Flexible on travelling - expenses paid for Proactive Good communication skills verbally and electronically Organised Technically minded Benefits include: Early finish on a Friday Company van Expenses paid for Pension Scheme Parking onsite Social events
