Your responsibilities In this role include: Reporting to the Field Support Manager, the Field Support Engineer will provide dual support between Customer Support conducting fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of in-service equipment, as well as, Marshall Land Systems Production operations manufacture and assembly specialist projects. Electrical biased Engineer with multifunctional competencies having the ability to be flexible to support both aspects of the business needs. Ability to carry out mechanical inspections, repairs and modifications on military Equipment and Systems. Competence in electrical systems associated with military Equipment/Systems highly desirable. Able to generate and complete relevant documentation including EICR and mechanical survey reports. Able to understand and work to engineering drawings and associated design data. Ability to work alone at User locations or as part of a team within the production environment with the ability to interact effectively within both groups. Excellent time management and administrative skills. Ability to understand and follow processes and procedures. Good understanding of engineering and engineering hygiene principles sufficient to be able to interface effectively with Design Engineers. Desirably able to set up & operate generators including FEPS. Proven commitment to delivering excellence. Commitment to playing a part in developing a 'learning organisation' culture. Willingness to deploy to operational areas if necessary (CONDO) desirable. Willingness to undertake Level 3 instructional training. Apply if you have most of the following: Must hold a recognised electrical qualification and City & Guilds 2391-52 or equivalent (International or military). Must hold a City & Guilds 2382 BS 7671 IET Wiring Regulations 17th Edition. Knowledge of 3 phase electrical installations. Driving license.
