– An experienced 5G/4G Field Test Engineer to join a team of passionate engineers and test world-class mobile devices. The candidate is expected to bring innovation and strong execution skills to the team of Field/IOT Performance Test Engineers.

As a Field Test Specialist, you will be a part of the success and will have a direct impact on the quality of our products.

Role and Responsibilities

The main tasks you are expected to perform include: UE QA Testing – Flashing samples, Smoke, Performance, Conformance, Regression, Acceptance, Validation testing and more. Manual and Automation testing as well as Field SW/HW testing (UK or abroad). Quality assurance 'end user' testing on live networks. Take responsibility for field/IOT test execution, capture of failure logs, and track issues until they are resolved. Record test results accurately. Maintain testing equipment and supplies in safe and good working conditions. Manage full project test cycle and test schedule. Plan innovative test scenarios to uncover critical issues. Identify KPIs to improve modem performance, especially for LTE and 5G technologies. Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration needed. Interpret technical reports and contribute to regular progress and final project reports. Domestic and international business trips may be required. Field testing time varies but can be expected to be at least 50% of the time.

Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience in mobile field testing is essential (4G/IMS/NR). Prefer experience with UK/European telecom operators. Must have an engineering background in IT, Electronics, or Telecommunications. Fluent written and spoken English. Strong analytical skills. Capable of making decisions, working independently, and organizing own workload. High self-motivation and ability to work alone, setting sensible priorities, working to tight deadlines, and managing conflicting priorities. A competent level of presentation and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management. Strong PC skills (especially MS Office). Knowledgeable in GSM-UMTS-LTE-NR Networks and applications. Knowledgeable of SRVCC, Carrier Aggregation (CA), IMS, and LTE Advanced (MIMO, QAM).
