Finance & Admin Lead , you will ensure that Overdales complies with its financial obligations under the Account Rules within the SRA regulations. This role will assist the COFA in having oversight of all the financial processes, ensuring they are fit for purpose and are adhered to by the Overdales teams, helping report any serious breaches to the SRA and ensuring that upcoming risks and issues are escalated and owned as appropriate. Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Creating and maintaining client ledger reporting Understanding and reporting Overdales’ cash position at any point in time Influencing senior stakeholders to complete the appropriate financial transactions in line with existing processes, to ensure that Overdales’ financial position is monitored and kept current with accurate and timely inputs Managing the Procurement process within Overdales having full oversight and control of approvals and receipting etc Thorough tracking of all transactions and reconciliation on both business and client accounts Reporting and monitoring processes that allow the business to understand the financial position at any time What we need from you: Experience in and ability to interpret and present numerical data Skilled in Excel and Powerpoint Experience in the Collections industry and/or Legal industry is desirable Able to evidence delivering against deadlines Experience in and ability to influence peers and Senior Managers A mission that gives back: You’ll also have lots of opportunities to make an impact on your personal development.
