My client is looking for a Finance Administrator to join their team. Working as part of a team of 5 in accounts, you’ll be responsible for providing day-to-day support for the company and supporting your colleagues. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 12 months accounts-based experience to build on. Responsibilities:

Taking the lead on the purchase ledger Reconciling invoices and seeking approval for payment Processing the weekly payment run to contractors Generating and sending remittances Providing assistance in the day-to-day bookkeeping including updating transactions on SAGE and updating scheme spreadsheets Providing invoices and requesting payments from customers Responsible for credit control and handling debt recovery Generating and sending monthly CIS statements to all contractors Supporting subcontractors regarding CIS, payments & DRC Bank, nominal and account reconciliations, monthly Processing month-end Bacs and staff expenses Reconciling petty cash Providing support to the accounts and contracts team with reporting and invoice queries Liaising with councils to answer queries on invoices and credit control Answering the finance phone line to both internal and external queries Assisting in general office duties including updating holiday records, sickness records, and general filing Working Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with a 30 mins lunch break, parking on site, 23 days holiday, excellent opportunity for progression and development. AAT study support is available if required. Car ownership is preferable. Skills Required:
