Role Overview We are seeking a Contract Finance Analyst to play a crucial role in preparing and analysing financial statements for Benchmark Capital and its subsidiaries. This position requires a keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Base Location You will be based at our Schroders Campus near Horsham in West Sussex. Offering high standards and an international reputation without the bustle of the city, our spacious countryside campus provides a unique working environment. Amenities include an on-site restaurant, coffee shop, gym, and a dedicated shuttle bus service to Horsham's main line train station. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for Benchmark Capital and its subsidiaries. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with accounting standards. Perform variance analysis on financial results and provide insights to aid in decision-making. Support financial audits and liaise with external auditors as required. Prepare and maintain financial documentation and reports according to established procedures. Identify process improvements within financial reporting and analysis. Participate in project meetings and contribute to financial project deliverables. Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Previous experience in a finance analyst role or similar, preferably within the financial services industry. Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles. Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
