This role is a vital member of the finance team and will be responsible to provide analysis and insights through reporting to ensure the effective delivery of the site strategy. You will also have ownership for the delivery and reporting of the cost of sales and overheads reporting for the site. Build highly effective relationships with stakeholders. Support and influence management team to deliver cost improvements. Help drive and embed a continuous improvement culture across the business, improving systems, processes, and reporting where necessary in line with Lean principles. Responsibilities: Responsible for the preparation of monthly journals; highlighting and providing insights to performance regarding the site. Balance Sheet reconciliations & attending monthly review meetings - managing Risk and highlighting Opportunities. Deliver accurate Cost of Sales performance reporting and analysis with variances to budget / forecast which are fully understood and effectively communicated to site management. Prepare, distribute, and provide insights to the Yields (Internal and External) and Product Price Variance reports on a weekly basis. Reconcile various reports to General Ledger including GRIR accounts to supplier statements monthly and Ad-hoc manual Payments. Support with delivery of Annual Budget including forecasts and Year-End Accounts. Support the implementation of SAP S4H in April 2025. Produce weekly / daily labour performance KPIs showing the performance of site. Take a full and active role in site projects to drive continuous improvements and meet site objectives. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and Pilgrims Europe procedures by following standardised metrics and reports. Ensure strong internal controls are in place and maintained to mitigate business risk. Ad-hoc duties / requests from Site / Central Finance. What you'll need: You will have strong analytical and numerical skills with extensive knowledge of management accounting, ideally within an FMCG organisation. Proficient with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills and preferred knowledge of SAP. You are a result driven person with attention to detail and an eye for continuous improvement. Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build relationships across a matrix organisation. Demonstrate a proven track record of meeting weekly deadlines when producing weekly KPIs. Keen for a role in Finance.
