has partnered with a global Tier-1 Asset Manager to assist them with their search for a Finance Analyst/Finance Business Partner to join their London team. They are a fiercely ambitious company, growing across the world both through diversification, organic growth and acquisitions. A broad and diverse mix of responsibilities to gain a great grasp of financial reporting, MI and business partnering. The Finance Business Partner will serve as a key liaison between the finance department and various desk heads within the firm. This role requires a strong blend of financial expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills to provide insightful financial analysis, strategic guidance, and support to senior management and department heads. It does have core financial reporting in there too, but this is not the crux of the role. You’ll be joining a London finance team of 25 people covering teams such as Financial Control, Business Partners, FP&A, Finance Systems, Tax, Compensation and more. Key Duties Include: Business partnering with MDs and the CFO on financial performance Monthly management reporting, assisting with annual audit and tax-related queries Working with the portfolio monitoring team on analysis Month-end oversight Process improvement and automation Tax and dealing with the year-end auditor queries Ad hoc projects Experience & Qualifications: Qualified accountant (preferably trained in an audit) A minimum of 3 years experience within an audit/finance function Sound understanding of IFRS reporting standards Great communication skills and the ability to speak finance to non-finance personnel Strong Excel skills and advanced modelling Exceptional commercial awareness Compensation: Base salary of £60,000-65,000 PA Annual bonus Employer pension contribution Seniority level
