Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be extending their relationship with a key client in Doncaster, as they look to recruit a Finance Analyst into their team. After appointing a new Finance Director this year, there has been a restructure across the finance team, opening up this brand-new position. Key Responsibilities:

Reporting on financial performance and preparing for regular leadership reviews. Analysing past results, performing variance analysis, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvements. Providing support for the management accounts at month end. Working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting. Evaluating financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts. Providing analysis of trends and forecasts and recommending actions for efficiencies. Identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards. Increasing productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools. Performing market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps. Qualifications:

Proven working experience as a Finance Analyst or Management Accountant. Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications. Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages. Outstanding presentation, reporting, and communication skills. Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis. Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments. Skills:

Strong analytical and data gathering skills. Good business acumen. Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
