Finance Analyst A little bit about our team: WMX is a central division within Warner Music, the teams within the division build and manage the European supply chain, online artist web stores, execute retail & Licensing collections and run the tour merchandise, VIP and ticketing programs globally. The Finance team is responsible for all accounting, analysis and reporting for these areas of the business. The role will be reporting to the Finance Manager. Your role: EUROPEAN SUPPLY CHAIN Provide financial accounting and operation support to the European Supply Chain team. Ownership of the entity’s month end processing, P/L, balance sheet, cash controls, bank and intercompany reconciliations and journal posting. Inventory analysis; working alongside the manufacturing team to ensure effective stock management. Improve data flow and information reliability across supply chain function. LICENSING Tracking licensee reporting and managing a shared mailbox. Working with the accounts receivable team to raise invoices. Supporting the licensing team. OTHER Raise sales invoices for any artist services activities not covered above, ensuring correct VAT treatment. Raise intercompany sales invoices liaising with intercompany partners to ensure accounts are aligned and in sync. Liaise with Finance shared services on Accounts Payable / Receivable issues. Assist with ad hoc queries. About you: At least a 2:1 Bachelor’s degree. Numerical degree preferred. To have started / has the intention to start and complete an accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA). Highly motivated, independent whilst collaborative task finisher with a perfectionist work ethic. Strong analytical skills and ability to work through problems logically. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, within time constraints and deadlines. Capacity to work on projects concurrently and prioritise effectively. Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels of management and staff. Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications, predominantly Excel.
