Flexibility for some home working, to be discussed at interview £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience We have a newly created opportunity to join Beaverbrooks as a Finance Analyst. This is an exciting and critical role to add value through insightful, forward-looking reporting as well as collaborating with IT to improve the efficiency and flexibility of analysis. This role would suit a qualified accountant who wants to keep a close link to Management Accounting but has a desire to develop in, and some experience of, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and financial system/process improvements. Main Responsibilities

To own and maintain the integrated financial reporting model, continuously improving the quality and efficiency of the inputs, while also enhancing the insightfulness and dynamism of the outputs. Work with existing and new systems to harness the power of Business Intelligence tools to provide pro-active reporting improvements and efficient ad-hoc request responses. Manage the annual budgeting and monthly reforecasting process in conjunction with the Management Accountant. Be the link between IT and Finance to bring in new systems and processes to improve efficiency, scalability and performance of the Finance function, for the benefit of the wider business. This role will be part of the Management Accounts Team, requiring the successful candidate to understand the Management Accounting processes and be able to provide cover for the Management Accountant role from time to time. ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Qualification from recognised accountancy body, e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role with a solid understanding of General Ledger Accounting and Month End Reporting Good working knowledge of Excel and Accounting and Business Intelligence Systems Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions Must be able to manage own time/workload and be a self-starter A good blend of people skills Previous experience analysing and forecasting DESIRABLE SKILLS
