About our client
Our client is an impressive venture capital investor which is looking to hire a Finance Analyst to join the London team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across an impressive variety of responsibilities and will develop an in-depth understanding of the venture capital industry and all aspects of fund management. The role will work across commercial and fund finance whilst supporting senior management in the monitoring processes surrounding the current portfolio.
What the job involves
Support the team on budgeting, forecasting and monitoring across all funds Preparation and review of management accounts across all funds Support the finance team on investment operations responsibilities across distributions and drawdowns Support the finance team on the implementation and continuous development of financial systems Coordinating EIS tax relief for investments and communication with portfolio CFOs Support the Financial Controller on tax responsibilities for the management company Support the Portfolio Controller in portfolio monitoring and reporting Who we are looking for
Qualified Accountant Experience in budgeting and forecasting would be desirable Investment Management experience would be desirable Exceptional attention to detail Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, modelling experience an advantage Happy to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment Self-motivated, proactive and with a strong work ethic Engaging personalist: able to interact with a broad range of service providers Strong written and verbal communication skills
