Accounts Assistant

Salary - £24k - £28k pa
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Accounts Assistant to join our Castleford based client in an accountancy practice setting, who truly believes in putting the client first!
The successful candidate will ideally be AAT qualified or part way through the qualification. Practice experience would be ideal however the client will also consider candidates from industry who may want to make a move to practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the directors in managing and processing various accounts and transactions, as well as providing first class communication to their clients.
Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
Accounts Administration – Including HMRC/Companies House amendments
Preparing Payroll
Completing VAT and Tax returns
Accounts Preparation to Trial Balance
Supporting the directors through promoting the business, such as attending networking events and social media activity
