people in the UK rent their homes. Goodlord's mission? To provide them with the best renting experience in the world.
We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, the landlord, and the tenant. We knew Generation Rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution.
Like all scale-ups it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we’re now stronger than ever, with around 3,000 letting agents using the platform, exciting and varied products, and 350 Goodlordians supporting the mission!
The Opportunity: Managing our overdue debt collection process - this will involve telephone and email conversations to recover debt.
Producing weekly debtors reports outlining actions required for each customer to retrieve debt.
Monthly customer invoicing and reconciling money received against invoices.
Dealing with customer, supplier & internal queries.
What we need from you: Comfortable having challenging conversations with customers about outstanding debt.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with people - a key part of this role is communicating to all stakeholders, internal & external.
Strong numerical skills (being part of the finance team means this is essential).
Organised and proven ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
It would be great if you: Have experience working with Excel, Microsoft Office or Google Sheets.
Have been doing similar work in a customer support environment.
