The Finance Assistant will be responsible for posting and coding supplier invoices for the company, reconciling supplier statements, dealing with supplier queries, processing expense claims, and assisting with the processing of credit card expense claims. You will also be required to assist with other administrative tasks within the Finance team. Information: Position:

Up to £35,000 per annum

(depending on skills, knowledge, and experience) Hours:

37.5 hours per week Shifts:

Monday to Friday - 08:30 to 17:00 - As per needs of the business Job Requirements: Previous experience within a Finance team. Previous experience with purchase ledger (minimum of 1 year's recent experience). Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Excel and Financial Reporting Packages. Attention to detail is critical to the success of this role. Ability to work towards critical deadlines. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize your own workload. Excellent administrative and organizational skills, with great attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure while managing shifting priorities. Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills. Good team player and self-motivated. AAT preferable. Experience with cashbook processing would be an advantage. Knowledge of Sage would be an advantage. Job Responsibilities: Manage and update the details for all requirements of the invoice. Monitor for annual charges to be invoiced. Process and code supplier invoices. Reconcile supplier statements. Deal with supplier queries. Cover weekly payment run when required. Process bank transactions daily. Process expense forms and assist with credit card expense claims. Assist the Finance team with other activities when required including year-end audit.
