Finance Associate (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Please note this is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract Maternity Cover So, what will you be doing? Supporting in the preparation of select areas of the monthly management accounts, to include ownership of certain P&L cost lines. This will include calculating and posting accruals, processing invoices and expense claims and ensuring costs are complete. Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for select balances and looking into and reconciling items. Perform the weekly bank reconciliation for multiple accounts including various currencies and associated daily cash balance reporting to the business. You will be a specialist in a number of company and finance specific systems and software (Netsuite, Excel, Solution 7, Asana, Gatekeeper, Webexpenses), training other team members in how to use and exploring ways to maximize the potential of these systems. Business Partnering - preparing budget vs actuals reports for a number of teams and discussing costs and performance together. Assisting with processing of employee expense claims and becoming an expert in our software. Working internally and with suppliers to resolve any complex invoice processing issues. Ad hoc reporting and analysis requests for the senior finance team and teams across the business. Identifying opportunities for automation in all of our processes, whilst ensuring the numbers remain reliable and accurate. Comfortable working with large quantities of raw transactional data. Experience using NetSuite helpful, but not required. Detail-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
