This role is wide-reaching and we are not expecting you to have experience in all these areas. We are looking for someone with strong finance fundamentals who has a desire to learn about our business model, is excited about our mission, and wants to accelerate their career at a fast-growing company You will directly report to the Senior Finance Manager but also have exposure to the Head of Compliance and Lending early on. Your role will be broadly within core finance, but you will also develop an understanding of our lending operations You will have the opportunity to quickly grow and progress, taking on more responsibility in the finance team as the company grows You will be involved in the month-end close, preparing monthly management accounts, statutory year-end accounts, and liaising with auditors You will track and report on KPIs, including unit economics You will manage accounts payable and receivable You will support the team with FP&A, including working on the operational model, P&L, and cashflow forecasting You will assist in underwriting loan applications, conducting KYC, credit, AML, and fraud checks You will feed into lending policy optimization to maximize approval rates whilst controlling credit risk You will support with HR admin and processes
