The role:

As a Finance Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for the detailed requirements gathering from finance teams and translating this into clear business requirements, in conjunction with Product Managers. You will also draw requirements out from finance colleagues, using your experience of working in a financial accounting environment.

Responsibilities: Lead the definition of the required financial accounting outcomes with key stakeholders, SMEs and sponsors to ensure business benefits can be realised by the Fusion Program. Produce the necessary documentation to confirm the financial accounting business outcomes, scope & operational processes to support the technology solution for Fusion, clearly articulating and bridging the gap between business and DTS. Articulate outcomes and finance team requirements within the document in a way that provides traceability between strategy and project objectives. Define or work with business counterparts in the BGS&S finance teams to define business processes utilising conceptual modelling and capability analysis, identifying opportunities for synergies across products. Work closely with Lead Solution Architects to ensure that the solution proposed meets the requirements and the anticipated benefits. Carry out engagement activities with the business on behalf of project-initiated changes that may affect business processes, understanding impacts and constraints and helping to ensure smooth implementation. Facilitate removal of blockers in progressing an idea or project progression. Facilitation of workshops and requirement gathering sessions to ensure that the needs of the BGS&S finance teams are captured effectively, using consistent methodology across the Fusion program. Requirements:

In depth knowledge and experience in a Business Analysis role within a finance function, driving change within an organisation essential at a fairly complex level. Facilitation of discovery workshops ensuring accurate capture of output. Experienced in 'as-is' and 'to-be' detailed process mapping and data flows. Creation of journeys, use cases and writing and playback of Features and User Stories. Excellent and demonstrable understanding of Finance processes including billing, revenue recognition, payment processes, cash and debt management and month end closing. Experience of working in large financial services organisations. Experience of change delivery lifecycle highly desirable. Experience of Agile/SCRUM methodologies. Experience of Azure DevOps and Miro would be advantageous. Stakeholder Management able to manage and engage at all levels.
