£55k-£65k DOE Are you an experienced financial professional ready to lead in a growing innovative engineering environment? We are partnered with a growing Engineering company who are looking for a strategic thinking Finance Business Manager to join their Team. The successful candidate will need to be experienced with financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and oversee accurate financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and ensure compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS. Collaborate on budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies aligned with business goals. Lead audit preparations and ensure regulatory compliance. Conduct financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and investments, identifying risks and opportunities. Work closely with operational teams in the business to understand cost drivers, improve efficiency and support project-based accounting. Implement robust cost control measures, ensuring alignment with project budgets and timelines. Partner with operational teams to improve cost efficiency and project-based accounting. Mentor non-finance colleagues and contribute to strategic decision-making. What You Bring: Professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA); MBA desirable. Minimum of 7 years experience in management accounting, ideally in engineering or manufacturing. Proven track record of participating in audits, including preparation and management of audit processes. Extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, and buyouts, including due diligence and integration. Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, Excel, and financial regulations. Strong leadership with analytical and communication skills. The company we are partnered with will not be providing sponsorship for this role.
