Join us as a Finance Business Partner We’ll look to you to provide financial support, guidance, challenge, and insight for the executive and senior management across Finance and the wider bank, partnering with the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Investor Relations. You’ll be influencing business decisions by providing commercial and financial expertise, ensuring compliance with the bank’s governance. This challenging and rewarding role offers significant exposure and the opportunity to raise your profile across the bank. We're offering this role for a period of 12 months. What you'll do

As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll be managing the relationship across Finance and the wider bank, including business partnering with the Group CFO. Day-to-day, you’ll be: Supporting analysis and governance papers regarding the bank’s annual five year budget strategy and financial plan, analysing group trends with review and challenge to influence decisions. Reviewing and challenging scenario analysis and high level sensitivities for the bank, providing insightful analysis and commentary in support of onward communication to ExCo and the board. Driving improvements to the budget process, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities while streamlining processes in collaboration with key stakeholders. Supporting the communication of the bank's financial performance to senior management and the market. Working closely with franchise support teams and other stakeholders to improve robust group level analysis across key metrics for the bank. The skills you'll need

We're looking for someone with a CA, ACA, CIMA, MBA qualification or equivalent, and financial services and business partnering experience. Along with good commercial decision making and negotiation skills, you'll be comfortable operating within a matrix structure organisation, and you'll have the ability to deal with ambiguity, uncertainty and risk. With excellent communication and influencing skills, you'll need the ability to communicate complex financial information in a concise, non-technical manner. You'll also demonstrate: Effective analytical and time management skills. A flexible approach. The ability to review long-term impacts of plans.
